A  Missoula-owned social impact company founded in 2011, our newest vision TAP, starts in our hometown of Missoula. TAP was created because we believe in the magic of community and we want to help build a connection to the place we all live. How are we different?

  • We're locally owned and we're for Missoula and Montana locals, people interested in visiting the Missoula community, and Missoula alumni who just can't fully say goodbye. (We know it's hard!)

Ourstory

Where did we come from?

We're from Missoula! We're owned by two Missoula natives who have always had a mission to connect the community in a positive way that may be outside your daily commute, routine, or social circle. 

​

TAP soft-launched in June of 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. During the shutdown, one of TAP's founders created TAP.

 

The TAPMissoula platform came from the question, how can we bring positivity and productivity into the Missoula community that may be hurting from the Coronavirus pandemic? With the intention to add to the movement #MissoulaStrong, TAP was created. We hope you join us.

Our mission is to create a safe, fun, and positive virtual social space for the community of Missoula. Our intention is to translate our virtual space into real-life and supportive interpersonal interactions. We aim to connect individuals, community organizations, nonprofits, and businesses through engagement in social groups and forums. Each section of our website centers around community engagement. Forum topics range from paying it forward, sharing, trading, and promotion, to gifting or selling items. Our Social groups are run by local businesses, nonprofits, and community groups. In addition, our TAPMissoula marketplace is coming soon. We believe kindness is the new cool and we want you to TAP into your community.

  • Do not provide payment to anyone you have not met in person.

  • Beware of offers involving shipping - deal with Missoula community members you can meet in person.

  • Never wire funds.

​

  • Don't accept cashier/certified checks or money orders.

​

  • Transactions are between users only.

  • Never give out financial info.

  • Do not rent or purchase sight-unseen.

  • Refuse background/credit checks.
