TAPMissoula Group Leader Terms & Policies
By creating, managing, or upgrading a group on TAPMissoula, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Group Eligibility & Approval
All groups submitted to TAPMissoula are subject to review for compliance with platform guidelines. Approval or denial will be issued within three (3) business days. TAPMissoula is not responsible for delays caused by user error, including failure to check spam or filtered folders.
2. Verification of Ownership
If you represent, claim affiliation with, or create a group on behalf of a business, nonprofit, or other organization, TAPMissoula may request documentation to verify your authority. TAPMissoula reserves the right to deny or delay approval if verification is incomplete or insufficient.
3. Free and Pro Group Status
All groups begin with standard (Free) features unless upgraded to a Pro plan.
Groups upgraded from Free to Pro will retain existing members, posts, and settings. Pro features and visibility benefits will be applied once payment is successfully processed.
Any limitations associated with Free groups, including advertising restrictions, are lifted upon activation of a Pro plan.
4. Advertising & Promotional Content
Advertising, sales posts, solicitations, sponsored content, or commercial promotion are strictly prohibited in Free groups.
Promotional visibility, sponsored content, and advertising opportunities are reserved for active Pro groups and may be permitted at the discretion of the Group Admin, provided all content complies with TAPMissoula’s Terms & Conditions.
TAPMissoula reserves the right to remove content or suspend groups that violate this policy or otherwise misuse the platform for unauthorized promotion.
5. Access to Missoula Community Leaders Group (Pro Only)
Active Pro Group Leaders receive complimentary access to the private Missoula Community Leaders Group. Access remains contingent upon an active Pro subscription. TAPMissoula may modify or discontinue this benefit at any time without prior notice.
6. Payments, Trials, and Refunds (Pro Only)
All Pro plan fees are non-refundable, including partial or prorated periods, regardless of usage.
If a Pro plan includes a free trial, payment will be processed automatically at the conclusion of the trial unless canceled beforehand. Failed or declined payments may result in suspension or removal of Pro benefits.
7. Cancellation of a Pro Plan
You may cancel your Pro plan at any time from your user account. Upon cancellation, Pro benefits will end and your group may be scheduled for removal from TAPMissoula.
TAPMissoula reserves the right to permanently delete groups and all associated content at any time following cancellation, without notice and without the ability to restore deleted content. TAPMissoula is not responsible for data loss following cancellation.
8. Group Activity Requirements & Removal
TAPMissoula reserves the right to remove any group (Free or Pro) at its sole discretion. This includes, but is not limited to, groups that are inactive, abandoned, non-compliant with community guidelines, or otherwise determined to negatively impact the platform.
When possible, TAPMissoula may attempt to contact the Group Leader regarding prolonged inactivity; however, prior notice is not required.
9. Data Deletion
If any group is removed or deleted for any reason, all associated content, including posts, events, member lists, and settings, will be permanently deleted and cannot be restored.
10. Reinstatement After Cancellation
If you choose to re-create a group after deletion or cancellation, you will be required to create a new group. Deleted groups and their content cannot be recovered.
11. Amendments to Terms
TAPMissoula reserves the right to modify, update, or amend these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
